After a great night of music in Musician 1st Class Jen Krupa’s hometown in Hemet, we headed for Pacific Grove, Calif., at 7 a.m. It was a long seven-hour bus ride, but once again, the beautiful scenery of southern California was captivating.
The audience at Pacific Grove was at capacity and was extremely appreciative of our efforts! It is especially rewarding when we get to meet active duty personnel at our concerts. We had the distinct pleasure and honor of meeting Army Command Sgt. Maj. Olga Martinez. She was in uniform and seated in the front row and really enjoyed the performance. When we get to spend a few minutes with fellow members of the armed forces it makes what we do on the road even more special.
We are off to Monterey today and look forward to another beautiful day in California!
