A Special Audience in Alexandria, LA

by MU1 Tina Catalanotto
Country Current performed the seventh concert of our 2012 concert tour yesterday evening in Alexandria, LA. Throughout the first week of our tour audiences have shown nothing but graciousness, but last night's audience was particularly appreciative and enthusiastic. Among last night's audience members were 60 special needs students, all of whom were enraptured and inspired by our performance. It touched my heart to look out and watch these children light up, dance and smile throughout the program. To top off the evening, the wonderful officers of the Alexandria Police Department escorted the Country Current back to our hotel after the performance. I have had a great time touring my home state throughout the last couple of days, and I've been pleasantly reminded that southern hospitality still exists in Louisiana. Now, on to the great of the state of Texas!
